Junior goalie Danny Caufield and resident team lax guru was named SUNYAC Goalie of the week for the second week in a row. Here is the summary from SUNYAC's official website:

Danny Caufield (Rochester, NY/McQuaid-Jesuit), junior

Danny Caufield (Rochester, NY) recorded 14 saves in the Cardinals' win over Division II St. Michael's Wednesday to earn his second consecutive SUNYAC Goalie of the Week honor. Caufield stopped seven shots in the third quarter, when St. Michael's peppered the Cardinals with 15 shots, including 10 on goal. In the final quarter, Caulfield made two saves to secure the two-goal win.
And to that I have one thing to say: Your move Norchi.
Tucker Glass pointed out to me that although we are not in the official USILA national poll we did manage to receive some votes on the JustLacrosse.com poll. Who picks such a poll you ask? Oh some guy named...um....Casey Powell. Yeah when one of the godfathers of lacrosse is showing you love you must be doing something right.
Finally I'd just like to pass along the the article that appeared in the Press Republican featuring our defense. The online article doesn't do it justice as the headline read "Ten-Acious Defense", a play on words referring to our 10-8 win over St.Mikes. Pure genius.
Side Note- I'm pretty sure the guys at the Press probably got at least one phone call informing them the sports editor misspelled "tenacious". And that my friends is why I love America.
