Wow. Seriously. Wow.
That about sums up my thoughts on yesterdays game.
Clarkson jumped out to an early 4-0 lead but once again we stayed calm and kept battling back. Both teams made runs and with 1:30 left and a 12-12 score Clarkson took possession of the ball. The Golden Knights then hit about three posts and Logan made a huge save in some of the most heart pounding 2 minutes of my life. The game then went to OT where we had another two and half blood-pumping minutes until Luke "Flega Fage" Flegar sweeped across the box and scored the game winner, then celebrating by doing the dirty bird. Funny story: Two days ago in practice Flegar asked coach if we would get in trouble for celebrating after a goal. He then told us all how he'd love to do the dirty bird after a goal. Funny how things worked out. Big game Saturday for the home opener. More on that tomorrow.
