Starting off on the right foot

What a game! For those of you unable to attend I'll give you a brief summary. West Conn jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead. The score could have been a lot worse had it not been for the phenomenal goalie play by junior Logan Carpenter. We regained out composure and the game was basically goal for goal until the 3rd quarter. The Colonials went on a bit of a run and gained a 2-0 lead. Plattsburgh stayed strong however and went on a 5-0 run, including 2 man down goals. The run was sparked by a big hit/hustle play by converted long stick sophomore Kevin Farrell. After that run we never looked back, keeping the lead for the remainder of the game. Seniors Pat Nastro and Luke Flegar stepped up big with two goals apiece. Seniors Luke Weidlein and Kyle Norchi scored three and four goals respectivly. Sophmore Pat Wright netted three goals. Their are some assists thrown in their but the box score isn't out yet and when your 70 yards away its hard to tell who passed to who.

Well I need to go to sleep. The teams headed to watch Towson vs Stony Brook tomorrow. I'd like to give a BIG thank you to everyone who came out to support us and all the parents for making the tailgate awesome. Also a shoutout to the Weidlein's for hosting the tailgate (if their was another family I apologize for not knowing) and for letting me stay at their house tonight! Hope everyone comes out just as loud and crazy for Sundays game vs Farmingdale.

As always I leave you with a gem....guess the young guns can make some noise?
